People: Who inhabits eternity, Whose name is Holy:

Leader: “I dwell in the high and holy place,

People: and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit,

Leader: to revive the spirit of the lowly,

All: and to revive the heart of the contrite.

Hymn - “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” #32, vv.1, 3

Invocation & Lord's Prayer

Our Father, Who Art in Heaven. Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. AMEN

Call to Confession

Prayer of Confession

Heavenly Father, as people who were dwelling in darkness, we have seen a great light that has dawned on us. We have been called into the Kingdom of Heaven, but we have not followed as we ought. We have been half-hearted in our response to your call.

We have not been diligent in our fishing for mankind, and our fruit shows the dryness of our soil. Forgive us for not drinking from your Word. Forgive us for not participating in the means of grace as we ought. Renew our strength as we rely on you. This is our prayer of confession and we make it in the name of Jesus...(silent confession)

O praise Him, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!
