Youth at Grace Chapel madison

Meeting Times

Sunday School - Sundays at 9:00 am. We are working through Psalm 119 as a companion piece to Pastor Tommy's sermons. This allows the youth to interact with the text at their own pace and in their own way before it's treated in full during the sermon. As he moves on though the bible, so do we.

We meet in the youth rooms.

Sunday Night Youth - Sundays from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. We are working through How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth by Gordon D. Fee and Douglas Stuart.

We meet in the education building (the second building to the right of the sanctuary). Dinner starts at 6:00 pm, the lesson starts at 7:00 pm, and activities are held in between.

Wednesday Night Youth - Wednesdays from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. We are working through common questions from the Bible. In essence, the youth come every week with a variety of questions about culture, biblical passages, and theology and we discuss them together. Any time they "stump" the teacher, the youth pastor researches the pastor and returns with answers the following week.

We meet in the education building (the second building to the right of the sanctuary). Dinner starts at 6:00 pm, the lesson starts at 7:00 pm, and activities are held in between.

Summer Programs

This summer is an odd one in the life of Grace Chapel Madison. With some (but not all) Covid-19 restrictions being lifted we are allowed to return to some (but not all) activities.

This summer will sadly be without a large-scale retreat. We are looking at a return to retreats at some point during the fall of 2021.

We will still have our regular events every week as listed above.

In addition to that, we will have Monday variety nights starting in June and going through to the new school year. Youth will have a chance to come to the church and play games/watch movies/hear guest speakers/burn off extra energy. More info on that will be posted the closer we get to June.

We are also opening back up our Summer lunches program. Tuesday through Thursday will be open to one-on-one's and some-on-one's between the youth and our youth pastor. Events range from going out to eat for an hour to an all-day trip to the trampoline park. It is whatever the parents are comfortable with. Please contact Jared Norton or the church office for openings.

Volunteer Opportunities

We'll take anything from extra food to extra hands. If you're interested, please contact Jared Norton or the youth office.
